Nokia ha già in progetto nuovi modelli con Windows Phone

Sembra che Nokia stia guardando molto in la nel futuro. Secondo un’intervista rilasciata a Pocket-Lint.com, il CEO di Nokia Stephen Elop avrebbe fatto riferimento ad altri smartphone made nella casa finlandese che avranno Windows Phone come sistema operativo.

Dopo i vari Nokia Lumia 800, 710 e l’ultimo presentato al CES 2012 Nokia Lumia 900, sembra che la Nokia sia già al lavoro per sfornare nuovi smartphone che, a quanto pare, saranno completamente diversi da quelli fino ad oggi conosciuti.

Notizie più brutte per quello che riguarda il Lumia 900 e la sua commercializzazione in Europa

We have not announced the 900 in other countries. One of the things you should notice though is that we clearly have a pattern of this rolling thunder of announcements one after another and what we are doing more and more is making sure that we are targeting specific devices and specific price points for specific markets.”

Elop sintetizza in questo modo la scelta di non commercializzare il Nokia Lumia 900 in altri paesi

For example,In the US, one of the things that was actually one of the most important things we did with the Lumia 900 was LTE support. LTE support costs. It costs in terms money for the radio, extra battery life requirement and so forth. LTE in Europe is not so important. It will be, but not today. We haven’t announced anything specific, but clearly there is going to be a steady pattern of new devices and a full portfolio of capabilities in Europe and around the world. There is lots more to watch.”

Colpa del supporto alla rete LTE tenuta di poco conto da noi Europei?? Potrebbe essere proprio questo il motivo della scelta di Nokia di commercializzare lo smartphone “Best Of Ces 2012″ solo in America. Tuttavia il CEO di Nokia, forse anche per non deludere i fan, promette di rilasciare uno smartphone molto simile a Lumia 900 anche per altri paesi, magari privandolo del supporto LTE.
